I am a Certified Birth Doula (DONA). I am very passionate about serving as a doula. Since 1995 when I found my love for birth and being of assistance to women, I knew what I was here to do. Some say this is what I was born to do, I have to agree because my heart is always in it and my soul thrives to see women find their inner strength and "girl power" :) ,also to see fathers growth through this as well.
Transition into parenthood is an amazing sight to see, the minute the baby is at the eyes of his parents is the most priceless moment in time...

Birth Doula Services provided:
* a Free Consultation "get to know each other appointment" to see if I am the doula for you!!
Once I have been hired as your doula
* One or Two prenatal visits in your home (or as requested)
* An option of an accompaniment to one of your Dr's visit
* Assistance in preparing your birth plan or just review
* 24 hr. On-call availability for questions, concerns or resources
* Will join you at your time of labor when requested
* Continuous support during your laboring & birthing experience
* Initial breastfeeding support
* Stay until you are comfortable for me to leave (after birth)
* One or Two postpartum visits
* After baby comes home support if needed(on call support at anytime)
Average Cost for Doulas in Sonoma County
$600-1200.
Payment plans, sliding scales and military rates available,
my belief that every woman should have a
doula does support free births as well.

This company was established to provide dedicated doula service to expecting women and their families. Also the belief that all mothers and families should have a Doula by their side, with the intent that all clients' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs to the best of my abilities. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat clients (multiple births) and referrals from both clients and medical staff.

My experience in the field goes back to 1995(Navy days), before I knew that I was a "doula".
I have my BA in Early Childhood Education, AA in Child Development, Human Services & Resources Certificates. Navy Veteran, and a trained Families First visitor in Sonoma County.
I have considered my MA in Nursing but loving my Doula role at this time.
